Plus Oil is an edible oil developed in collaboration with Professor Emeritus Hiroshi Maeda of Kumamoto University, a leading researcher in cancer drug development, utilizing his research papers. The oil in Plus Oil uses 100% domestic rapeseed, a very rare ingredient produced by only a few companies nationwide. It is a pure rapeseed oil made using a first-press method and finished with our unique process.
Using our proprietary technology, we have added the fat-soluble components of Kyushu-grown tomatoes, spinach, and Kumamoto-grown carrots to the oil, creating a completely new type of vegetable oil enriched with the vibrant colors and antioxidant components of the vegetables.
The fat-soluble antioxidants from these vegetables help suppress reactive oxygen species, which are said to contribute to aging and cancer. By dissolving them in the oil, the beneficial functions of the vegetables can be absorbed more efficiently.
Additionally, Plus Oil excels in both shelf life and heat resistance, making it suitable for drizzling, frying, sautéing, and all kinds of cooking.
As a result, it won the Excellence Award in the 2016 Kyushu Bio Cluster Promotion Council “Brand Design Contest”
and was certified as a 2017 Kumamoto Health-Oriented Product by the Kumamoto Prefecture Health Service Industry Council.
